In this box are components for 40 infantry miniatures sculpted in 28mm scale with a mix of archers, billmen (halberdiers), and command figures.
Perfect for 28mm historical wargaming or dioramas. Also make great troops for other 28mm medieval/fantasy games.
This box is designed for you to build a retinue of one or more of the nobles who fought for the two sides in the Wars of the Roses; a series of civil wars fought between the two rival factions of York and Lancaster for the throne of England from 1455-1487.
Models require painting and some assembly. Up to 18 billmen (halberdiers) or 30 archers can be assembled. Extra parts allow for each figure to be uniquely built. There are 14 different body designs, including 4 fully armored (harnessed) command. Additional arms for the command to allow you to build up to 2 standard bearers, trumpeters, and champions with a poleaxe. Extra heads, bundles of arrows, and sheathed swords are also included.
Includes pamphlet with introductory information about the war of the roses, an overview on assembling figures, some drawings of historical uniform colors, and flags.
